The order types supported by BiyaPay for trading US stocks are as follows:
1.Market order
Market Order refers to an order that does not require customers to set their own prices and will be executed at the latest market price after placing an order. Market Order can quickly execute orders, but it does not guarantee the transaction price. When the market changes rapidly or for stocks that are not actively traded, market Order may be executed at a higher or lower price. Please carefully evaluate the relevant risks before placing an order.
Notes and Precautions:
Market orders can usually only be placed during trading hours.
After the market order is placed, the system will freeze the purchasing power slightly beyond the current purchase cost before the order reaches the final state, in order to promote the smooth execution of the order and maintain the stability of the risk control value of the account; after the order is completed or cancelled, the frozen purchasing power will be automatically released.
Due to the inability to guarantee the transaction price for market orders and orders that rely on market orders (such as stop-loss orders), the market system that does not support market orders will automatically convert market orders into limit orders (with 20% price limit protection for opening market orders) to help buffer any sharp price fluctuations.
2.Limit order
Limit Order refers to an order that requires customers to specify their own transaction price. It will only be executed when the stock price reaches the specified price or there is a better price. Limit orders will only be executed at or above the limit price, effectively locking in the transaction price range. However, using limit orders may result in missing out on market opportunities. If the stock price does not reach or fall below the limit price, the order will not be executed.
